It was a very enjoyable and interesting tour. We learned a lot about Singapore and it’s cultural heritage. Our tour guide, Ganesh, told us many things about the city and its people, demonstrating a wealth of knowledge. We really liked his friendly and courteous manner. You could see that he truly enjoys his work. We highly recommend both, this tour and the tour guide.

Joyce started the tour with a history of the country before we even started walking, which was very helpful. She is very knowledgeable and was good at putting everything in context. We spent a good amount of time in each quarter, and the amount of walking and transit was a good balance. Joyce pointed out the important historical/cultural parts of each area and also a lot of detail about the food and markets - it was great to learn about the traditional foods and where to find good ones. Lots of opportunities to stop for snacks - and you can pick and choose when you want to stop or keep moving. Joyce knows a lot about the different cultures and is always willing to answer questions, share more facts, and tell you her perspective, so we learned a lot. Overall a very good tour!
