Excellent walking tour

Malcolm_F, Mar 2026

A very interesting historical tour of Auckland through Albert Park, in and around the university precinct and concluding with a walk down to the Britomart and along the harbour front. Along the way we learnt about the history of Auckland and the architecture of buildings, saw vibrant street art and a myriad of lanes filled with coffee shops and eateries. We also went to little spots we would not have found on our own such as the breathtaking views from an upper level of Princess Wharf. Paula is a most excellent guide, she is well organised, extremely knowledgeable and presents the content in a most engaging manner. The small group is an added bonus as we felt connected and involved from the very start. This tour is highly recommended We have been to Auckland several times but this tour made Auckland more exciting and real.

Small group tour with Paula is stellar

Michelle_O, Mar 2026

Paula was a baby guide for this small group tour. Learned so much. Plenty of time to ask questions and talk with the other two people on the tour. The stop for coffee was such a nice touch. Bathroom stops perfectly timed. Great tour.

Thank you Paula for this very interesting visit to the history of Auckland. I liked also these two masterpieces of maori sculpture that you showed us. The program was perfect with mixed moments for a living visit. Thanks again and sorry for my strange english ! Chantal from Paris. France
