A village high up had a splendid view, very few people in this February period. We found space easily.
After one hour drive, arrive in Albi and enjoy a guided walk through the old town.
Visit the unique Ste Cecile Cathedrale and stroll through Vieil Alby (Old Albi). Admire the Old Bridge and visit the Saint-Salvi district with its serene cloister.
Enjoy some free time for lunch (at your own expense) or use your free time to explore the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, located in the historic Bishop’s Palace (entrance fee not included). This museum houses the largest collection of works by the famed artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
After a short drive, arrive in this medieval bastide town. Enjoy a guided walk to the top of the village and admire the old Market Place, beautiful Renaissance houses and a stunning view over the country.
Your last stop will be in one of the wineries of the Gaillac appellation for a visit and tasting session.
