Ice Cream Cone was the Highlight

We are retired and wanted to try something different on our anniversary. We mistakenly thought a Friday afternoon at the zoo would be a blast. Sadly, it was hot, crowded, and many of the animals were lethargic. There seemed to be a heavy emphasis on merchandise and catering to school field trips. Maybe we just picked a bad day, or prefer to see animals in their natural habitats. Regardless, we had a good ice cream cone.

One of our favorite things we did! Lots to do and see, and some really unique exhibits. We easily spent a lot of time here, and would return.

Perfect weather to visit, the zoo had new exhibits, staff friendly as always and the food was delicious. Will be returning for the new addition coming.
