The guide was friendly...

Edmond_N, May 2026

The guide was friendly and informative. She knows our subjects well and gave us a very good overview of the museum and the key works of modern Spanish arts (mostly paintings) in the collection.

Rubens

Joe_C, May 2026

The tour guide, Rubens, gave a great tour. He was punctual and led the tour in a great overview of the various art forms represented along with historical insights to bring it all together.

A Lesson on Cubism

Knowledge and passionate guide, very enjoyable tour

Natasha_B, Apr 2026

Our guide Lola was fantastic! We focused on a few key paintings in each section of the museum and Lola was clearly passionate and very knowledgable. She pointed out details in each work and even asked us what we thought about some of the paintings. Her explanation of Guernica was wonderful. She guided us through the imagery and explained why Picasso made certain decisions in the painting. I actually did the free tour that the museum offered of Guernica afterwards and that guide was dry and difficult to follow. I’m so glad I did this tour!
