Gloucester Quays rip off parking charges for serious shoppers!

Just wanted to shop and have lunch for a few hours, but very limited to 4 hours due to rip off parking charges. 4 hours is over £5 disgusting. Outlets like Mansfield FREE, Swindon £2 or FREE if you spend over £100. Why is it so expensive to park, it doesn't encourage spending in the shops/restaurants. Why can they not see that? It should be reduced rate for serious shoppers, proof in receipts.
