The tour we booked was the Best of Toronto Small Group Tour with CN Tower and Harbour Cruise. The company that Viator assigned to run this tour assigned a guide who was completely clueless about the city itself and told us he forgot his cue cards at home. Also the harbour cruise portion of our tour was not available so he told us we would be visiting Casa Loma. I already booked separately that tour for 2 days later. But I wasn’t too upset because that morning I received a text saying that the Casa Loma tour was canceled. Unfortunately our tour guide was ill equipped and uninformed in his job as a tour guide. When we asked questions about the area he couldn’t answer them and suggested we google for information, which we did. Nice guy but a horrible tour guide.

This was a very enjoyable excursion. Our guide, Dan, was very knowledgeable and full of good stories about Toronto and its history. We enjoyed the small group and Dan did not try to rush us through the various stops. We recommend this tour to anyone.
The first stop on the tour is at the city's iconic CN Tower where you will be whisked up the glass elevator to the tower's observation deck where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the cityscape from the LookOut Level. Feel the breeze at 342m in the air on the outdoor terrace and take a walk on the glass floor - which was the first in the world in 1994 when it opened!
Your guide will provide you with a narrated driving tour through the city where you’ll pass by multiple points of interest including Dundas Square, Queen’s Park and Nathan Phillips Square.
At Nathan Phillips Square you’ll have a chance to take a picture with the famous “Toronto” sign and learn about the PATH beneath the city.
St. Lawrence Market has been named as the top food market in the world by National Geographic. You will have some free time here to do some shopping or get something to eat.
The Toronto Harbour Cruise boat tour offers amazing photo opportunities with a picturesque look at the Toronto skyline and the islands surrounding the city.
