We were left to our own to explore no guidance whatsoever to bad if we fell Didn’t get to the base of a waterfall Told to buy our lunch on a so called ‘PREMIUM TOUR LUNCH PROVIDED’ Then offered money after we questioned I felt sorry for the international tourists that we had on board, non English Bus was hot when we got back Guide busy reading paper Do not recommend for the $265 each I would like to have seen a refund

Litchfield Premium Day Tour lunch included did not deliver. Lunch was never an option; instead we were given $20.00 each to purchase our lunch at a truck stop. Nothing premium about the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and the mini bus was OK. We were picked up and returned to our hotel.

Dear Kerry, thank you for your feedback. We are currently in out low season, the rainy season. With low numbers of 6 guests we opt for buying a lunch on the way as the weather conditions are not always in favour of having a picnic lunch. The reason why we stop there is, that they have a wide range of food and coffees and we did compensate you with $40 in cash to choose anything of your liking and therefore you did get the option of having a lunch as advertised. We do not specify how we serve the lunch at certain times of the year, as it gets to confusing. Hopefully you still enjoyed your day in Litchfield National Park with us.

Florence Falls, a spectacular spring-fed, year-round double waterfall set amid the monsoon forest which cascades into a swimming hole. The lookout from the top provides a panoramic view.
There is a 160 step staircase down to the swimming area. There is also a viewing platform at the top of the falls if you do not wish to swim. An alternative to the stairs is the Shady Creek Walk (1km), which meanders around the back of the waterfall with shady little creek crossings. Do it as a loop – down the stairs and then up the Shady Walk. We tailor this stop at Florence Falls to your liking and being a small group we can pay more attention to your individual wishes and fitness level.

Wangi Falls is one of the most popular swimming holes in Litchfield National Park. The falls flow all year round. The swimming hole is a short accessible walk from the carpark.
We will break for lunch around the large green grassy picnic area with tables. We will serve a mouth watering lunch, we have all the ingrediance and you can make yourself you wrap to your liking. All produce are fresh and healthy and we usually have salats and vegetarians and gluten free are catered for.
Magnetic and Cathedral Termite Mounds are two attractions in Litchfield National Park. Built by termites, they are amazing architectural feats complete with arches, tunnels, chimneys, insulation and nursery chambers. We stop and have a short walk on a boardwalk, while your knowledgeable tour guide gives you more details information about these master architects of the bush.
