It's a full day's (12 hr) tour but operated problem free and somewhat easy-going. Tour guides were exellent and they detailed the tour highlights well. The allotted time for lunch on the Island makes for a rushed/unrelaxing experience. Otherwise, a nice full day's trip!

Thank you for your excellent 4 Star review of our Martha's Vineyard Day trip from Boston. I am glad that you enjoyed your time with our guides. I apologize if you felt rushed for lunch. The dynamics of our trip change considerably commencing on Labor Day weekend. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

We were not informed before the tour began in Boston that we would not be going to Edgartown for the advertised 50minute stop. Had we known that this and the Gay Head Lighthouse stop was not as advertised due to renovation, we probably would not have take the tour as Edgerton was due to be a highlight for us.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that you did not get to spend 50 minutes in Edgartown. We always do what we feel is the best way for our guests to thoroughly enjoy the island experience. Due to road work going on that day in Edgartown, we felt it was best for all if we went to Oak Bluffs instead. This is something that rarely occurs, but when it does it is out of our control and we need to improvise. Again, my sincerest apologies. Kind Regards, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

It's a long day but Timmy the Tour Guide is great. He gave us helpful information about MV and what to expect that day. We rented a car and got to see a great deal of the island in 4-5 hours. We traveled in April and it wasn't crowded but also many places were not open.
