Overview
The rural villages, tiny islands, and lush rice paddies of the Mekong Delta lie just over an hour’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City. Vinh Trang Temple
This full-day journey begins with a peaceful escape from Ho Chi Minh City's bustle to the magnificent Vinh Trang Pagoda. Marvel at this architectural treasure dating back to the 19th century, where intricate carvings, ornate design elements, and serene gardens offer a glimpse into Vietnam's spiritual heritage and rich cultural history.
Featuring the most unique architectural style in Southern Vietnam, Vinh Trang Pagoda's highlight is its triple-gate entrance adorned with intricate ceramic and porcelain mosaics. Ancient artisans skillfully arranged colorful fragments to create vivid illustrations depicting Buddhist stories, folk tales, sacred animals, seasonal motifs, and natural elements like flowers, leaves, clouds, and sky—all blending together in perfect harmony like painted artwork.

Discover authentic Delta charm. Visit a fruit orchard where you'll experience local honey harvesting and enjoy refreshing honey tea tastings amid lush tropical surroundings. Continue to a traditional workshop to witness the intricate process of making the region's famous coconut candy.

Indulge in a delightful riverside lunch, featuring Mekong's unique culinary heritage crafted from fresh, local produce. The restaurant's scenic location is unparalleled. Later, a serene sampan journey awaits, silently navigating Ben Tre's picturesque waterways, bordered by lush water coconut palms. This tranquil experience is unforgettable.
A relaxing bicycle tour through Tan Thach village is then offered, allowing close observation of daily rural life and friendly interactions with the local community. Alternatively, peaceful relaxation is provided by comfortable hammocks, where the gentle Mekong breeze can be enjoyed before your transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
