Enjoyed the audio tour in the car that we could do on our own schedule. Also being able to repeat it if we decided to while we were there or again this year. Great information. Although, no spirits were noticed, we had a great time

Linda, I’m glad you enjoyed the flexibility of my Ghosts of the Gettysburg Battlefield audio tour and that you could replay it at your own pace. It’s wonderful to hear you appreciated the detailed information along the way, even if the spirits didn’t appear this time. If you're interested in more historical adventures, check out my Ultimate Gettysburg Battlefield Self-Guided Audio Bundle Tour, which covers Gettysburg Battlefield, Seminary Ridge, and Devil’s Den. Happy exploring!

Once we got the hang of the tour we really enjoyed it. The stories are good and mixed with history. They paint a picture which is good in a paranormal tour. So often we read reviews for paranormal tours that say "More of a history tour than a ghost tour" but you need to know the what, where, who and why to understand the ghost stories. This has that good balance of the two. Here is our tip, even though the narrator Mark N says you can veer off trail and pick it back up easily. It was our experience that although it is easy to pause and restart it, was hard to leave the trail and pick it back up.

I’m glad you enjoyed my audio tour and felt the stories struck a good balance between ghostly tales and historical context—that’s exactly what I aim for. Doing the tour at night does sound atmospheric, but just a heads-up: the battlefield and roads are only open from thirty minutes before sunrise to thirty minutes after sunset. So it’s important to complete the tour by sunset, as some parts pass through areas that close in the evening. As for picking the tour back up, you’re right—it’s best not to fully close the app. Just pause it and leave it running in the background, and it’ll automatically resume at the next stop when you return to the route. If you ever have questions or need help, I’m just a call away and available daily from 9 to 6. And if you're craving more historical adventures, check out my Ultimate Gettysburg Battlefield Self-Guided Audio Bundle Tour, which includes Gettysburg Battlefield, Seminary Ridge, and Devil’s Den. Happy exploring!

Hard to listen in the car, charge the phone, drive and navigate. Got lost easily, couldnt find some locations. Not the best.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Kelly, thank you for sharing your experience. You can connect the audio to your car stereo using Bluetooth or an auxiliary (AUX) cable for easier listening. If you're using an AUX cable, your phone will charge automatically; otherwise, a portable charger is a great backup. I'm sorry you had trouble with navigation; the tour is designed to stay on track if the suggested route is followed. I'd really appreciate knowing where it got confusing so I can improve it. Please reach out—I'm available daily from 9 to 6 and would be happy to help with a replacement tour or a refund. Let's make it right.

The tour is more about history and gore. Stories were too long. The tour would be better suited after sunset, but the park closes 1 hour before sunset.

Wayne, thanks for sharing your feedback. My Ghosts of Gettysburg tour blends real history with eerie tales, which occasionally lean into the darker side. I understand your preference for a nighttime atmosphere—it would amplify the spookiness. Unfortunately, the park’s closing hours limit that. Still, I hope the stories added a unique layer to your visit.
A visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield is not complete without stopping at the Gettysburg Heritage Center Museum.

Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months.
Today’s stories are brought to you by Mark Nesbitt, who is the first to create ghost walking tours in Gettysburg. Based on his own frightening experiences living in Gettysburg for over thirty years and the ghost stories told to him by the people who actually experienced them, these stories combine town history with the mystery of the spirit world.
