  • Mauerpark

    If the legendary Berlin attitude can ever be found at home, then it’s in the Mauerpark on Sundays. A relaxed amble through the stalls of the flea market, followed by a short climb up the hill and grabbing one of the coveted places on the swings

    Continue your ride to Wall Park, that’s how Mauerpark is translated. It was located in former West Berlin, near the wall erected in 1961, which formed the border between the former districts of Prenzlauer Berg and Wedding. Now it is a famous flea market where you can find a lot of peculiar stuff.

  • Humboldthain Flak Tower

    A must see stop in Berlin! This sight offers a real insight into the turbulent history of this subterranean complex.

  • KulturBrauerei

    Set your wheels in motion and go to the Kulturbrauerei, a 25,000-square-meter architectural ensemble. The former brewery is now a protected historical monument, showcasing one of the several well-preserved industrial buildings in Berlin. Dating back to the later 19th century, it now serves as a perfect place for cultural events, concerts, and festivals.

  • GDR Watch Tower

    Take a look at the last watch tower left after the Cold War and Berlin partition. Those towers were used to watch illegal wall crossings. The tower was erected in 1971 and was manned by two border patrol soldiers working 8-hour shifts in cramped conditions. In 2001, it was listed as a site of historical importance

  • Palace of Tears

    Pedal on to reach the Tear Palace, which is a colloquial name for the former border crossing point between East and West Berlin.     Located on the corner of Friedrichstraße and Zimmerstraße, it is a reminder of the former border crossing, the Cold War and the partition of Berlin.

    Checkpoint Charlie was the setting for many thrillers and spy novels, from James Bond in Octopussy to The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
