Our tour guide Bea was a wealth of knowledge. Our mothers were born in Hungary and she answered a lot of our questions. The tour covered a lot of ground and we learned a lot about the city. Would highly recommend this tour to get to know the city.

Budapest is a beautiful, grand city with impressive architecture and plenty to explore. Walking around feels like stepping into history, and there’s no shortage of sights, food, or atmosphere. However, security cameras are extremely visible and widespread, which can feel distracting and a bit uncomfortable, especially when you’re trying to relax on vacation. It doesn’t completely ruin the experience, but it’s something sensitive visitors should be aware of.

Diana was really lovely and very knowledgeable. We were lucky to have just myself and husband on the tour. Very enjoyable

This walking tour was very relaxed and informative. Our guide, Dominic had a great sense of humor and his English skills were excellent. He loves his city and was able to share that joy with us. He gave us options for making our way across town.
You will visit the most monumental religious building of the Hungarian capital with several statues and frescoes and the oldest human hand of the world: the mummified right hand of Saint Stephen the first Hungarian king (from 1038). Open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.
You will see the attractive square in front of the Basilica.
Walk around the majestic Hungarian Parliament built at the end of the 19th Century. Enjoy some of the best photo spots.
We will take the public transport to the Castle of Buda. We will visit the famous Buda Castle: first we will explore the panoramic terrace of the Royal Palace with the most beautiful view of the city.
See a beautiful fountain made in the 19th century.
Then we will move from the castle of Buda to the palace of the president with the guards in historical uniforms.
As a next stop on the tour you will have the chance to admire one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in Budapest, the Fishermen's Bastion with the famous panorama over the river Danube and the Hungarian Parliament building.
Our tour ends at the beautiful Matthias Church built in the Middle Ages in Gothic style. (The visit inside is also possible after the tour, but it requires an entrance ticket which costs 5 EUR / person to be paid separately.)
