Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip

This was an amazing trip. Our driver/guide Mr Wu was great. We set off at 6.30am - this meant we arrived at Mutianyu before all the crowds. It was so quiet and peaceful. The views were amazing. Mr Wu was so helpful and cheerful throughout the trip. He spoke excellent English. We would highly recommend this trip.

Our driver Jack was very good and the trip was organised and managed very well. We left Benjing at 6:30 am and managed to be at the Wall before the traffic started. We spent there probably 4h walking on the Wall and taking pictures.

Amazing experience! Our driver Michael was on time waiting on us in the lobby of our hotel. The car was extremely comfortable and new and he drove us very safely to the Mutianyu and back. We spent there as much time as we wanted, took the cable car, walked to tower 20 as well went later to the toboggan. We were in contact all the time through wechat. On their recommendation we started at 7am and it was worth it to have wall for a moment almost to ourselves..all went extremely smoothly, you are really taken care of.

Had a glitch as there were high winds so we went to different section of the wall. It was absolutely awesome! We scaled over a 1000ft in elevation change (very windy here as well) and had an astounding view. It was the Juyongguan Pass segment, very cool. But be prepared to really climb a lot of stairs. Our driver, Matthew, was perfect! Gave us information to help the drive pass and was perfectly attentive. Really appreciated him! You won’t be disappointed!

Mutianyu Great Wall
Your English speaking driver will pick you up at the hotel at approximately 8:00am.It takes about 1.5 hour drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu from Beijing downtown. The Wall locates north-east of the City,it is the one of the most popular attractions.Though it is a little bit further but much less tourists.
You may take the cable car up to the Wall and this is the only section that has the toboggan down from the wall. You will have lots of fun the toboggan down.
Upon arrival, the driver can help you purchase the tickets.
After a few hours of hiking the wall, and many photo opportunities, it's back to your hotel at approximately 4:00pm.
If you like to go other sections, it is can be tailor-made for you as well.
The start time is flexible.During the holiday or weekends, better to start earlier to beat the crowds.Such as 7:00am or 7:30am.
Please advice upon booking if you want to start early.
