The most relaxing experience

Aji A, Sept 2025

Toku and his wife gave us such a special experience! They introduced us to the traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony with so much grace and care. The way they worked together as a team was seamless and made the whole session flow beautifully. Their explanations were clear, informative, and easy to follow, while the overall pace was perfect—never rushed, and actually very relaxing. We walked away with a much deeper appreciation for the culture and ceremony, and felt completely at ease throughout. Truly a memorable and meaningful experience!

This was a wonderful experience, very family, friendly . Our kids had a blast and they treated us wonderfully.

A must-do in Kyoto!

Our time with Toku and his wife was an absolute highlight of our entire trip to Japan. We learned so much about Japanese history and culture and what the tea ceremony is all about. Dressing in kimono made it even better. I chose this tea ceremony experience because it seemed like it would be more intimate, which it was. We would not change a thing and are so grateful for the experience we had and what we learned.
