Overview
Your evening walking tour of Salem starts when you meet your guide at the Old Town Hall. Salem has a notorious past and centuries of spooky stories but without a guide to bring this history to life (or death), you might mistake it for a regular town. And you really wouldn’t want to get lost after dark in Salem.
Your guide will lead you through the town, recounting stories of murder, mystery, and the supernatural, and pointing out the landmarks associated with them. Be prepared for a fright as you’ll hear some truly chilling tales—and leave the kids at home. Unlike many other tours, this one doesn’t just focus on the famous Salem Witch Trials, and you’ll learn much more about the town’s frightening past.
The tour ends at the Burying Point, from where you can make your own way back to your accommodation, if you dare.

Great tour by Samantha. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She even kept the tour on for us in the freezing cold, providing a hot drink and hand warmer. Thank you sam, we loved it

I’ve always wanted to experience the mysteries of Salem and that is what I got on this tour! Topher was so knowledgeable about the history of Salem and was very enthusiastic about sharing the stories of this beautiful city!

Good first time introduction

It was a nice first time experience walking tour. The only thing is that our guide was a bit sick and we had some trouble hearing given that it was crowded. Overall a nice and informative tour!

Salem Old Town Hall
Come experience the darker side of Salem on our guided night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind one-hour tour of this mysterious seaside city. Not for the faint of heart. Suitable for adults and young adults, not recommended for younger children. Tours run rain or shine and last approximately 120 minutes.

Walk the cobblestoned streets in the heart of Salem
10 minutesOld Burying Point Cemetery
We bring you to the gate of the cemetery. We do not enter the cemetery. Cemetery is closed after dusk.
10 minutesWe tell the spine chilling story that once happened here. Outside activity.
10 minutesSaint Peter's Episcopal Church
The guide will share a few facts about the church as we pass by.
2 minutesGardner Pingree House
We share the haunted stories that occurred within the walls of this house. Outdoor activity only.
