Irina, our guide, was outstanding as she took us through the wonders of Bargello. Her knowledge of the subject matter was matched by her appreciation and passion for it. All of this, combined with effective techniques like occasionally sharing related photos from her IPad, enhanced the experience for us and brought it to life so to speak.

See a great number of Donatello's statues such as bronze and marble Davids, St. George, Marzocco to name just a few. Hear the stories about Michelangelo's Bacchus and see his unfinished marble tondo. Learn the incredible story of the birth of the Renaissance in 1401 and admire the bronze panels that led to it.
