When you arrive at Night Safari, part of the same wildlife reserve as the Singapore Zoo, you’ll hop aboard an open-air tram to travel through the 98-acre (40-hectare) jungle park, subtly illuminated to highlight the exciting nocturnal atmosphere in which the resident animals come alive.
On the tram, pass by a large reservoir, and journey through habitats specially designed to simulate the natural environments of the wildlife, from the rainforest of Southeast Asia to the Indian subcontinent to the foothills of the Himalayas. Then take a walk along a safari trail with a guide, who helps you spot big cats like Sri Lankan leopards and a Gir lion. Stroll down the East Lodge Trail to watch for a Malayan tiger, spotted hyenas and red river hogs, and check out the Wallaby Trail to look for wildlife that’s native to Australia.
Your admission to Night Safari includes access to two shows, described below. When booking this tour, you also have the option to include dinner; see below for more details.
Thumbuakar Performance:
Watch a performance of cultural dance moves from an enthusiastic troupe of Thumbuakar warriors. You’ll be amazed by their rhythm, fire-eating tricks, flame-throwing demonstrations and unbelievable stunts.
Creatures of the Night show:
Journey into the rainforest during this interactive show that highlights the behaviors and skills of nocturnal animals like the civit, binturong, otter and more. Be wowed by the powerful jaws of a spotted hyena, and watch the African serval display its ability to leap for prey.
Optional buffet dinner upgrade:
Enhance your time at the Night Safari with dinner at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant, a 600-seat eatery with an array of local cuisine and international dishes. Enjoy the rustic-elegant setting, whether inside with its wooden accents and rattan fans or outside where you can listen to the sounds of cicadas, frogs and other nighttime creatures while Ankole cattle graze nearby.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! This would have the be one of the worst experiences we have ever had, and so expensive, for the price I would have expected a lot more and the promised time. It first started off we had to meet at a completely different hotel as they would not come to our hotel, once we where picked up we where taken to a second bus as to which we sat on for 50minutes before leaving because 2 people were late, this resulting in us missing an hour of our paid time, instead of being a 3hr experience it was 2hrs, we got to the park, saw the show and went in the tram and had to leave and had no time to experience it ourselves at all. When we arrived we were greeted with hundreds of people, no seating in the show and you couldn’t understand or hear the person on the stage. We went on a “tram” to look at animals as to which we saw about 4 that were not asleep and active as well as not being able to understand a word the “guide” on the tram was saying. The rest you couldn’t see. I will be requesting a partial refund for the hour delay and hour missed time that we didn’t get experience.

Dear Aaron, First would like to apologize for any inconveniences you experienced during the tour. Secondly, this is an SIC - Seat in Coach tour so we do pick up other guests from different hotels and tour usually starts at our coordination centre. We will check on the two guests who were tardy because we didnt get any report from the tour guide and driver. We also follow Night Safari program itinerary as they control the timing and the crowd which affects our tours as well but this is beyond our control and jurisdiction. Hoping for your understanding. With best regards Fay

Great tour was great but the place is way too crowded. Tour groups were everywhere and I at one point got lost from my group and the tour guide was unresponsive when I tried to contact them. Felt very rushed and went longer than expected. Didn’t finish the tour until 10p

Dear Daisy, First would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused during your tour. Night Safari is a popular tour this why its always packed and crowded. Hope you understand that we have to follow their program itinerary and if the park is crowded everything will be delayed and long queue or it will be in a rush. Regarding the guide we will investigate. Kindly advise your tour date so that we can determine which guide. Thank you once again for your honest feedback With best regards Fay

The tour was disappointing and definitely not worth what we paid for it, overpriced and we wouldn’t recommend it. Paul the tour guide talked at us for 45mins in the coach on the way there, repeated himself and quite frankly confused us. The whole experience was rushed, overcrowded and underwhelming.

Dear Andrew, First would like to apologize for the disappointment and also for the negative feedback. This is well noted and we will look into improving the product, components and the timing. Thank you and regards, Fay

The world's first Night Safari*, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle, will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effects.
See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moonglow lighting.
With priority boarding, you won't have to wait in line to board the tram which takes you through the East and West Loop. Pass by a large reservoir and weave through selected habitats designed specifically to replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontinent.
Let the guide take you on a walking trail to view some animals at close quarters. There will also be an opportunity to catch either the Thumbuakar performance of fire-eating skills OR a 20 minutes animal extravaganza at the Creatures of the Night Show, subject to weather conditions.
You can choose to add on a buffet meal of local favourites and international cuisine in a charmingly rustic setting at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.
