The tour leader was very good, an artist that truly believed in the art of winemaking. The vineyards were average, tasted variety of wines but no accompaniments

An Insightful Tour for Wine Lovers

I highly recommend Provence Wine Tours. My communication with the tour operators was professional and courteous, and we were able to design a tour that fit our visit. I appreciate the pre-tour coordination and used their service to book a reservation for our lovely in-tour lunch. Our guide, Stéphane, was a former winemaker and shared very insightful knowledge. I had no idea of the depth and breadth of the Provencal wine region, and am glad to have been enlightened during our wonderful day.

Itinerary
Provence Wine Tours
Meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at 1.30pm.
Your guide will drive you in a comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people.
You will arrive around 2.30pm at the first winery in the wine region of Bandol before heading to Cassis for the 2nd winery.
Get a private visit at 2 wineries, family-owned and awarded estates.
Taste some deep reds, structured or delicate rosés and elegant whites (about 9 different wines in total).
Enjoy a photo stop to admire the breathtaking vue on the Bay of Cassis.
We select different types of wineries in order to offer you the opportunity to see different ways to work. We have developed partnerships allowing us to take you behind the scenes: from the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything!
Your guide will also explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, green harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way.
