The tour was fantastic. Leonardo, our guide, was a delightful companion. He gave us lots of detailed information about Dante and Verona with plenty of historical context and background. You don't need to know a lot about Dante to enjoy the tour (we didn't), but we learned a great deal and became much more interested afterwards. Leonardo answered all of our questions and offered plenty of tips and recommendations for a great day in Verona. He's a charming, brilliant, engaging young man and a great storyteller! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We discovered Dante with Leonardo in Verona! This is already the title of a story. Walking through the streets and squares of ancient Verona with stories on every corner, about the people, architecture, the history of the city and, of course, about Dante. Leonardo knows a lot and conveys it with humor and details, he is a fantastic guide! Even the downpour that suddenly fell could not with our guide. He took advantage of the time under the arches near the old port to tell us more about the historical characters of the city. Don't miss it.

Great tour with Leonardo. I enjoyed learning the story of Dante Alighieri in Verona. A relaxing walking tour featuring sites connected to the greatest Italian writer in history. The Divine Comedy. This city is beautiful and full of history. I’m a fan of Dante’s work and I did not know of his connection to this wonderful city. 90 minutes for a great tour at a modest price. I was the only one on the tour so it was very personalized.

The church where Dante used to hang out when it was built. Now contains a chapel built by his family, the "Alighieri"
It's looking like a tower clock now but before it was a tower to keep the noble family safe from rival ones.
We will talk about Dante Alighieri life in this ancient square, including his own statue. Because this square has unique cultural spots related to Inferno. Moreover it has been a cultural and political center, offering a glimpse into Dante's time in Verona and its influence on his work.
One of the oldest and well preserved street in Verona overlooking the hills of Torricelle
The Arche Scaligere in Verona are a series of elaborate Gothic tombs, among them the resting place of Cangrande I della Scala, a powerful figure whom Dante Alighieri admired and referenced in his Divine Comedy. Dante's admiration for Cangrande, depicted in the Divine Comedy, adds a literary and historical connection to these impressive sepulchers, highlighting the intertwining of politics, literature, and homage within the architectural grandeur of Verona.
The peace of the Paradise is in this place, a Romanesque Church in Verona. In an off the beaten track spot.
Dante loved to walk around the town. For sure he was inspired by the trades activities in Piazza delle Erbe, once upon a time a vibrant markets.
