Our recent bus tour to Giverny and Versailles was well organized and everything was on time. Lunch was delicious, held at a resort in a small town. The experience at both Giverny and Versailles was not positive due to high volume crowds (Easter holiday). Rooms were packed and hard to appreciate what we were seeing. No fault of the tour company. The only negative to the tour company was not explaining that we needed to bring our own earphones for the audio tour and that they did not drop us off at the starting point as noted in the itinerary. Our Tour Guide was great.

My favorite part was Monet‘s house in Gardens even though Versailles was amazing. It was so personal at Monet‘s. I did love Versailles as well, though our tour guide Steve was very knowledgeable and very fun to be around. He really knows his stuff. We also had lunch in the French countryside and a beautiful restaurant. It was nice to sit around and talk with new people.

A lot of walking, and worth every inch. Giverny and Monet's house was so impressive. The pond and all the flowers everywhere were breathtaking. The lunch was delicious and they served vegetarian dishes. The castle at Versailles was stunning and our guide was amazing with her knowledge of the history that went with both parts of the tour made inch of walking worthwhile. The gardens were so visually breathtaking that one didn't want to leave. The hours flew by.

Guide was amazing, bus/driver was great, and lots of people to navigate (live guide and audio guide groups combined) whom were all respectful of time. There was not enough time allotted for the price and number of events promoted. The lunch set is back a half hour and not the best lunch experience which dominoed into much shorter Versailles visit and less than 30 min to walk the gardens which doesn’t allow you to walk them at all. In theory, it sounded great; thus willing to pay the higher price but in reality too many opportunities for mistakes, which did happen, resulting in a not so great experience.

Dear Kimberly, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that our guide and driver made a positive impression. We do apologize that the timing of the tour didn’t meet your expectations. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable experience next time. Best regards,
Home to Impressionist maestro Monet from 1833 until his demise in 1926.
Walk across the Japanese bridge you’ve seen somewhere before and catch your reflection in that water lily pond..
Time for a hearty lunch at the Moulin de Fourges, an 18th-century mill inspired by Marie Antoinette’s hamlet. Drinks included.
Leading us nicely on to your next stop: Versailles where you will see Louis XIV's Statue on a horse.
Compare and contrast your interior décor to that of Louis XIV and his wife.
Then waltz through the vast Hall of Mirrors. Your tour guide is at hand to answer your questions.
Your tour guide is at hand to answer your questions. You’re in for a treat (and numerous photo ops) in the palace’s back garden, and no garden worth its name would be complete without a fountain, sculpture, forest or two. If you’re lucky (if you choose the right date, that is), you’ll catch the Musical Fountains show, when the gardens’ numerous water features boogie to the rhythm of Louis XIV’s favorite tunes.
