Good way to see most of Palma in a couple of hours

dominicc464, Apr 2025

We booked segways for a city centre tour. Palma isnt the biggest city, but not small either, so a segway is a good way to get around. We have used segways before so it was easy to get going. Our guy took us around the usual tourist hot spot, some we’ve been to, some we havent. What we did like was being able to go down all the side streets which you will never find on your own. We booked the 2 hr segway tour and there was some confusion when we were taken back to the booking office after an hour. This was quickly cleared up and we got moving again. The bit we enjoyed the most was the clean run on the segway in front of the sea. That was a great view. Nice breeze and it just felt good. I would recommend it on your 1st full day here to get booked onto the tour as you may get shown places that you want to go back to, or indeed, places you dont want to go to. Segways arent necessarily cheap, but you can get a better price if you book via something like getyourguide. 1 hr to us would have felt a little short, 2 hour is better, but fue to the confusion from our booking, our experience should have been different. But if you like segways, this is a bit of no brainer to book this to get yourself around Palma quickly

Hello Dominic, Thank you very much for your review and for sharing your experience with us! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and had fun exploring Palma on a Segway, especially along the beautiful seaside—definitely a highlight! We sincerely apologize for the confusion at the midpoint of the tour. There was a mix-up where your two-hour booking was initially mistaken for a one-hour one, but as soon as we realized the error, we continued straight away without any time lost. In fact, we also upgraded you from a group tour to a private tour at no extra cost, so we hope that made your experience even more special. Regarding the price—yes, Segway tours are a premium experience. Each Segway costs around €9,000, and we’re proud to work with top-level guides who provide excellent service. This isn’t something that can be done cheaply if you want real quality and safety. While platforms like GetYourGuide or TripAdvisor are convenient, the best prices and offers are always available directly through us. We’d love to welcome you again in the future—and maybe next time, we’ll earn that fifth star! :)

Very nice tour through Palma as well as along the sea towards Arenal. Our German speaking guide Julian told us a lot about Mallorca. Julian ????????

Great way to peruse the area.

Segways are easy to use and you get to see so much more of the area with them, as opposed to walking the area. Our guide was great, and filled us in on details of the various stops. I'd recommend a segway tour over any other type of tour of the city center. A 2 hr. tour gives you an overview of the area, and then you can spend the rest of the day going back to the things you found most interesting. Taxi rides from the cruise terminal to the segway meeting place run around $10, so it's not expensive or difficult to get there from the ship.

Hello Linda, Thank you for the excellent review! We're thrilled to hear that you found the Segway tour to be an enjoyable and efficient way to explore the area. It's great to know that our guide provided valuable insights at each stop and that you appreciated the overview of the city. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we're happy to hear that getting to the meeting place was convenient from the cruise terminal. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!
