Here you will have time to freely visit the village and its beautiful squares, palaces, churches and towers.You will then continue to Siena, where an official guide will take you through the historic center and tell you about the architectural styles of the Cathedral and the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio race takes place.After a typical Tuscan lunch in Piazza del Campo (optional), you'll have the opportunity to visit a winery in the Chianti area and taste some renowned local wines. The last stop on your itinerary will be the wonderful fortress of Monteriggioni, a small medieval village crossed by the famous Via Francigena.
