In the morning, depart from central London by air-conditioned coach and journey west into the scenic countryside and towards your first stop of the day: Stonehenge.
Listen as your guide shares facts about this 4,500-year-old stone circle, which many scholars believe was built as a temple aligned to the movements of the sun.
Upon arrival, stroll around the monument’s perimeter. Explore the state-of-the-art visitor center, and discover its archaeological displays and audio-visual walkthroughs.
Then, continue your journey to the spa city of Bath. Famous for its natural hot springs that were enjoyed by the Romans, as well as for its Georgian architecture and associations with novelist Jane Austen, this lovely city is one of England’s greatest treasures.
During a walking tour, listen to your guide’s narration as you admire the honey-colored Georgian buildings, including landmarks such as the sweeping Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge.
Afterward, upgrade your ticket to include a visit to the Roman Baths, or simply spend the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre (own expense), the small museum that showcases Austen’s life and works.
When the time comes, reconvene with your guide and finish your trip with drop-off back at your original departure point.

Robert and Zenon lead our day trip through England to Stonehenge (bucket list item for me) and the Roman baths (had no idea what that would be like). Wow. Stonehenge was everything I had hoped! Bath was incredible! From the architecture to the history, the maintenance. Incredible in every way; would love to come back to experience more. The information from Robert about likes of England to guiding us through the sites was joyful. He made it fun and informative, quippy and factual. Seeing additional points around surrounding counties was an added bonus. This trip was much more than just wha the title depicted.

Robert was an excellent tour guide and Zeon was an excellent driver. Not only did we have ample time at both Stonehenge and Bath, but Robert showed us several sights on our way out of London, and he took us briefly through the Cotswolds on our way home from Bath. We got to see a lot more than we expected.

Great tour of Robert! We really enjoy the tour guide and the visit to Bath
Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.
Our last stop will be the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our panoramic drive through Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent.
Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.
Small museum chronicling the life and times of the famous writer, Jane Austen, plus Regency tearoom.
The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing.
The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the museum, holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century.
The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. Visitors can tour the baths and museum but cannot enter the water.
