Depart from central London by air-conditioned coach and journey west into the scenic county of Wiltshire toward Salisbury Plain, the site of UNESCO-listed Stonehenge.
As you travel, listen as your guide shares fascinating facts about this prehistoric monument: a 4,500-year-old stone circle that many scholars believe was built as a temple aligned to the movements of the sun.
On arrival, head inside the site and stroll around the monument’s perimeter as you consider how the gigantic stones were transported here and then raised into place. After posing for photos in front of the stones, explore the state-of-the-art visitor center to discover its archaeological displays and audio-visual walkthroughs.
Then, continue your journey to the 18th-century spa city of Bath. Famous for its natural hot springs that were enjoyed by the Romans, as well as for its Georgian architecture and associations with the 18th-century novelist, Jane Austen, this lovely city is one of England’s greatest treasures.
During your journey, learn about Bath’s history, and when you arrive, take an introductory walking tour. Put on your audio headset and listen to your guide’s crystal-clear commentary as you admire the beautiful streets and honey-colored Georgian buildings, including the sweeping Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge.
Afterward, upgrade your ticket to include a visit to the Roman Baths, or simply spend the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre (own expense), the small museum that showcases Jane’s work and times in the city. Learn about life in Bath during Regency times, and how it influenced Jane’s stories from the exhibits and in-costume guides. When the time comes, reconvene with your guide and finish your trip with drop-off back at your original departure point.

Our family thought the day was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and memorable. Cameron, our “Good Times Facilitator,” was incredible—informative, engaging, and genuinely funny. He struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating history and keeping the mood light and entertaining. His energy really set the tone for the day and kept us all smiling. And a huge shoutout to Zuric, our amazing bus driver! Not only did he navigate the roads like a pro, but he drove us through Pennsylvania! Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an stress-free, fun, and educational day out of London. Thanks for the memories, Cameron and Zuric!

We were extremely lucky to have Cameron as our guide and Zohir as our driver. Cameron really made our entire trip very enjoyable. He kept us engaged with amazing facts, origins or phrases and especially his jokes. ???? My favorite factoids were the origins of the phrases Honeymoon, Stone Cold Sober and Hang Over. And he recommended the best ice cream in England, he was right, it was delicious! Learnt so much while having fun. Cameron also gave us a glimpse of his theatrical chops with the Hamlet and Juliet’s monologues. Bravo Cameron! Zohir definitely deserves his title of being one of the best drivers. The ride to and from Stonehenge/Bath was very smooth. Both my kids are prone to motion sickness but we managed to get back to London without even a trace of it. True testament to his superior driving skills. Thanks to both of them we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend anyone looking for this tour to book with Evan Evans and most importantly ask for Cameron/Zohir if you can.

Disappointed. Not a guided tour. There was insufficient guidance. Not enough time at either place. Not worth the money.

Stonehenge and Bath were amazing and would highly recommend going. Our tour guide was full of anti-government conspiracy theories and mildly racist comments. Kept saying how the government will arrest people for their speech. Called Julius Caesar is Fae. Kept going on and on and wantedbeveryone to know he didn't care anymore because he's quitting. It was wild. Maybe don't use Evans and Evans if there is another option. Still go to these places.
Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.
Our last stop will be the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our panoramic drive through Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent.
Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.
The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England.
Small museum chronicling the life and times of the famous writer, Jane Austen, plus Regency tearoom.
The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing.
The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the museum, holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century.
The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. Visitors can tour the baths and museum but cannot enter the water.
