I’m terrible with names…but our guide, a young lady originally from Cuba, was very interesting, informative and outstanding guide. She was very enthusiastic the whole 2 hour tour. She took time with questions and made the whole tour fun and memorable.

Our guide Michael was fantastic. Exceptionally, polite, knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and saw many fantastic sights, which Michael gave captivating commentary on. His knowledge of the history of Poland and Gdansk is exceptional. The Fountain of Neptune is one of the most recognized symbols of Gdańsk where people queue every day to take photos. Neptune refer to Gdańsk links to the sea.
The old Main Town Hall. A 14th century building, reconstructed after the second world war and today is part of the museum of Gdansk
Arthur's Court. Originally a famous meeting place for merchants in the 14th century, it later became the city’s stock exchange, and is now a division of the Museum of Gdansk.
Long Market Square, the main Square in Historical center of Gdansk.
The Renaissance Green Gate was constructed as a royal residence in 1564-1568. Today is part of the museum of Gdansk.
The Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre. This is the only theatre in the world equipped with a folding roof.
The Old Prison Tower
The Tower, Neck and Torture Chamber built on Bricks, of two varieties to be exact, dominates the square, which has been referred to as the Coal Market since the 18th century. Today part of the museum of Gdansk.

It was through the Golden Gate that royal suites used to enter the representative Długa Street long ago.
Highland Gate, part of the Gatehouse Complex 16th century and formally the start of the Royal Road. Today tourist information point.

Great Armoury, a beautiful and impressive building in the style of Dutch Mannerism 16th-17th century. The Great Armory in the Main City of Gdansk is a unique architectural object. Today it belongs to the art academy of the city of Gdansk.
The Millennium Tree (Trzewko Tysiąclecia) - a modern monument, in the form of a polished stainless steel tree, commemorating the 1000th anniversary of the city of Gdansk.
King John III Sobieski Monument in Gdańsk (Polish: Pomnik króla Jana III Sobieskiego w Gdańsku) is an equestrian statue of the King of Poland John III Sobieski (1629-1696). Originally built in Lviv in 1898, the monument was transferred to Gdańsk in 1965.
The Historical Central Train Station. Gdańsk Główny (Polish for Gdańsk main station) is the chief railway station serving the city of Gdańsk, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. The station opened in 1900.
St. Joseph's Church. Building from the 15th century, rebuild after The Second World War.
St. Elisabeth’s church was built in the first half of the fifteenth century on the site of the chapel at the hospital for the poor and the sick, and a leprosarium. At the end of the Second World War in 1945, the church was seriously damaged, among others the vaults then collapsed. Reconstruction lasted from 1947-1949.
The Old Town Hall it is the 400-year-old which is one of the few historic buildings in Gdańsk that survived the war damage.
The Great Mill is great not only by its name. It was the greatest industrial plant of Medieval Europe. Rebuilt after The Second World War, today it houses the amber museum of the city of Gdansk.
St. Catherine's Church is the oldest church in Gdańsk, Poland. It was a Protestant church from 1545 until the end of World War II in 1945, after which it returned to the Catholic Church.
St. Bridget's Church best known as a sanctuary for the leaders of Solidarność under martial law, St. Bridget's Church was almost completely destroyed during WWII. It was rebuilt in 1973.
The Altar of Amber
It is twice as big as the legendary Amber Room and more than three times as high. We are talking about the amber altar, which is located in St. Bridget's Church in Gdansk. It impresses and delights everyone who looks at it, regardless of their faith or worldview.
Historical Polish Post Office. The place were took place the Defence of the Polish Post Office in (Gdańsk) was one of the first acts of World War II in Europe, as part of the September Campaign on September 1st, 1939. There is as well a beatiful monument dedicated to the polish post office defenders.
The European Solidarity Center is a modern cultural institution that was established to preserve the memory of the victory of Solidarity. It is also popularly known as the Solidarity Museum.
Three Crosses Monument.
Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers is a monument in the form of three crosses with anchors, commemorating the victims of the events of December 1970.
Its located in the center of the Solidarity Square in down town area, near historic Number 2 gate leading to Gdańsk Shipyard. The monument, made by the shipyard workers, is made of steel, its 42 meters high and weighs about 140 tons.
Sala BHP.
Place where took place events such as the August strike, Lech Wałęsa signed the agreements in 1980 and the birth of solidarity, all conected with it.
Gdansk Shipyard
The Gdańsk Shipyard (Polish: Stocznia Gdańska, formerly Lenin Shipyard) is a large Polish shipyard, located in the city of Gdańsk. The yard gained international fame when Solidarity (Solidarność) was founded there in September 1980. It is situated on the western side of Martwa Wisła and on Ostrów Island.
The Museum of the Second World War(Polish: Muzeum II Wojny Światowej) is a state cultural institution. It is devoted to the Second World War. Its exhibits opened in 2017.
Baltic Symphony Hall
Polish Baltic Philharmonic Fryderyka Chopina in Gdańsk - the philharmonic in Gdańsk, on the island of Ołowianka, is the historic, rebuilt and extended buildings of the former municipal power plant.
St. John's Church
Is an unique Gothic Church and a lively Cultural Centre in one.
The 14th century Gothic St. John’s Church is one of the last Gdansk monuments to be reconstructed after World War II.
The Great Crane is one of the defining symbols of Gdańsk. Located on the Motława River, Gdańsk’s most characteristic monument is the largest medieval port crane in Europe.
St. Mary’s Church (1502) is the most famous object of cultural heritage of Gdańsk. The great temple is the biggest Gothic brick building in the world.
Royal Chapel (Kaplica Krolewska) in Gdansk is an architectural masterpiece. Built in 17th century in Baroque style, ( The unique baroque church and the only church with a dome in the center of Gdansk) Its facade is richly decorated with Baroque sculptures. The colored Royal Chapel stands near St. Mary's Church and stands out as a prominent landmark against the grayness of the church walls.
St. Nicholas Church
It is a beautiful church located in the main town of Gdansk. The Dominican Church of St. Nicholas is one of the oldest churches in the city. Its history begins in the 12th century. It was the unique church that survive the second world war.
Historical Market Hall (Hala Targowa 1896) Its the oldest choping center in Gdansk.
