Very enjoyable food walking tour in Brussels with Ocean. Lots to try including Cocolate mousse, Belgian waffles, chocolates and a sit down small meal (croquettes, carbonnade, chips and beer). Ocean was a friendly and knowledgable guide. The tour lasted around 2.5 hours and I would highly recommend! We left the tour pretty full but not unpleasantly so!

Your review was a pleasure to read. When guests carry those memories beyond the day itself, it means everything connected well. We hope you’ll join another Secret Food Tours in the future!

We appreciate you leaving a review. From start to finish, it’s great to know the day came together in a way you enjoyed. You’re invited to explore another Secret Food Tours in any destination!

We have been on several food tours and this was quite mediocre, especially for a higher cost compared to others. We spent over an hour at a table by ourselves (no group gathering) with no discussion rather than an educational group discussion. The tour ended at least 30 minutes earlier than advertised. We didn’t visit some of the promised sites on the advertisement. We learned a bit about the food but relatively little about the culture and country in comparison to other food tours. Would look for a less expensive option with more information and exploration!

Thank you for sharing your feedback about our Brussels Food Tour. We appreciate hearing from guests who have joined food tours in different destinations, as those comparisons offer helpful perspective. This tour is built around a mix of tastings and explanations, and many guests have shared that the seated portions give them time to enjoy the food properly and ask questions directly to our guide. Reviews often mention enjoying the variety of Belgian specialties and learning how these food items fit into everyday life in Brussels, particularly around beer traditions, waffles, and local snacks. Tour length and pacing can vary slightly depending on group size and the flow of the day, but the scheduled tastings and main discussion points are always covered. Additionally, cultural context is typically shared throughout the tour in connection with each stop rather than as a separate lecture, which is something a number of guests have highlighted positively in their reviews. While every tour style is different, this approach has resonated with many who prefer learning through food stories and local examples. Nonetheless, we appreciate you taking the time to leave your review and share your experience. If you’d like to discuss this further, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@secrettours.com. Thank you for choosing to explore Brussels with us, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour.

Had yummy stops. Feel like we didn’t get much history on the actual food. Some stops were inclusive to our toddler, others were not so dampened the experience

Thank you for the feedback and for joining our Brussels Food Tour! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the tastings, as many guests regularly mention the variety and quality of the food as a highlight of the experience. Our tours are designed to focus on tasting local specialties while guides share context and insights throughout the walk rather than offering in depth explanations at every stop. Many guests enjoy this balance, though we understand preferences can vary. Regarding your toddler, some stops are more flexible than others due to the nature of the venues and products offered. Other families have shared positive experiences with several of the stops, though consistency can depend on each location. Still, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as feedback like this helps us continue to fine tune the experience for future guests.
