Overview
Depart from Gare Routiere Bus Station in central Geneva and travel by climate-controlled minivan to Chaplin’s World: a site dedicated to Charlie Chaplin. Learn about the influential 20th-century artist inside the Hollywood-style studio.
Next, ride along the UNESCO-listed Lavaux, also called 'the wine road' and known for its scenic vineyards.
Afterward, return to your vehicle and travel to the lakeside location of Château de Chillon, an 11th-century castle set on Lake Geneva. Take a 1-hour guided tour of one of Switzerland’s most iconic attractions and delve into the history of the dramatic structure with your guide. Learn how its dungeons inspired Lord Byron, and its role in controlling trade in the region.
Top off the day with a final stop in the tourist resort of Montreux. Hear about all the artists who have visited, including Freddie Mercury, who lived in Montreux for several years and recorded his last album with Queen in the Mountain Studio. You'll have the chance to visit Queen’s old studio and wander through the streets full of fancy shops and landmarks of the famous jazz festival.
After a full day of sightseeing, relax on the ride back to Geneva.

one of the most beautiful castles I know in a magnificent and very well organized location. You can get there by boat, train, car, bicycle or on foot.

Wonderful trip! The scenery is breathtaking and our guide ‘Roger’ was very knowledgeable and courteous. Taking in Chaplin World which gives you an insight into his family life! Chillon Castle and its surrounding area is just beautiful. Finished off with a couple of hours in Montreux the Swiss Riviera! Visited Mountain Studios where Queen wrote and recorded hit songs and of course a photo beside Freddie Mercury’s statue is a must!

Chateau de Chillon - amazing! Due to being able to access all the small rooms. Chaplains house - amazing! Learned so much about him and his large family.

A Trip to Repeat!

After this day trip you will feel like you need to go back and revisit everything during several days! The agenda is compressed for you to see all the most beautiful spots (I am not even mentioning the picture, you will have with Freddie) :) We were the most lucky with the driver - Evan - who took us on secondary routes to get more spectacle, was funny and told many stories. Worth the money!
