Whisky distilleries abound in Scotland and deciding where to go can be tricky, while driving between distilleries takes tastings off the table. That’s not a problem on this intimate small-group tour, as your driver-guide transports you to two specially selected distilleries in a top-of-the-range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach. There, learn about the history and production of whisky, before sampling for yourself.

I can highly recommend this tour. Our guide ( Darren/ Darryl ?)was friendly and competent. We covered alot. The driving excellent. Lucas in The Cardhu distillery spoke clearly and slowly ! Grateful for that. We learned alot. The whole tour was well organised and professional.

Two lovely guides with a twinkle in their eyes took us around the countryside to see and experience the whiskey homeland. Visits to distilleries and production of the core of whisky. The barrels. History, Tastings, comfortable drive and laughter. Well worth

Travelling in a small group is so good. Tom our driver arrived early for pick up, giving us more time for photo stops along the way. We sampled 7 whiskys in total. The cooperage was great, having the cask restoring & making explained. The scenery along the way is stunning. Bonus seeing coo's at Cardhu.
Here, you go for a little walk towards the Corgarff Castle, once a noble residence that in the 18th century was turned into a military base.
Next stop is the Whisky Castle for an optional tutor whisky tasting and lunch. This whisky emporium has been selling the finest malt whiskies for over 120 years and is stocking over 600 malts, so it’s a real treasure trove for whisky lovers.
