Brigitte was excellent- she shared so many interesting historical facts about beautiful Lubeck, and some hidden gems as well

Unfortunately, the guide had already gotten a little old, had difficulty standing safely and/or speaking loud enough. She did not conduct the tour with full vigour. She took back the descriptions very much and made them with little joy and was, we think, glad when the tour ended. With more than 250,-- Euro much too expensive!

Karin was an excellent guide. As she was local and had grown up in Lübeck she knew virtually everything about the town and more! We had a great time on the tour.

Dear Paul, Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience with us. Come back soon! Tina
We will begin our adventurous walk at the famous Holsten Gate, the world-famous symbol of hanseatic self-assurance which was the motif on the German banknote of 50 Marks until a redesign following German reunification in 1990.
We continue to the Salt storehouses, six historic brick buildings from the 16th–18th century, past the former industrial heart of the city, the Port of Lübeck. Our next point of interest is the famous traditional hanseatic Town Hall. It was built in the 13th century in the market square of the old town, and it's dark brick construction makes for a stark contrast with the surrounding red-brick building.
Next we visit St. Mary's Church, a fine brick gothic building, the third largest church in Germany. This Lutheran church full of art and atmosphere, with a very beautiful Chapel of Memory was constructed between 1250 and 1350. Outside St Mary Church, you can take a picture with the little devil, while our guide will tell you his funny story.
We will end our tour with a stroll through the famous streets and the decorated houses at Buddenbrook House, dedicated to the two writers Heinrich and Thomas Mann, and the “Buddenbrooks”.
