My teenage daughter and I visited from the west coast, and we took a 4-hour tour (9am-1pm) with tour guide STEVE and driver EDRICK. Steve is a historian who spent his life in DC, and is extremely knowledgeable. We were joined on our tour by another small family, so it was a very personalized tour. We saw ten monuments, plus Steve explained DC's layout, history, and historical sites as we drove throughout the city. He also answered my questions about restaurants, museums and other sites that we intended to visit during our tour. It was a perfect experience by a truly professional and personalized set of tour guides. It could not have been better. Thank you Steve and Edrick for giving us a perfect start to our DC vacation!

Hi- We deliberately structured our survey tour exactly for groups like you and your daughter. The National Mall can be VERY deceiving - it looks like everything is so close but in reality the distances are challenging and the weather unpredictable due to the "lake effect" of the Potomac and the nearby Chesapeake Bay. Steve has a wealth of knowledge of the DC scene and you can bank on his recommendations. Edrick, of course, knows all the secrets of the National Mall traffic patters and applies then on every tour. Thanks so much for your lovely review and for selecting us for your introduction to DC!
