My husband is a big car guy! I planned this tour as a little surprise for him on our Vegas trip. He loved the tour and getting to see the workshop. Our tour guide was awesome. For my husband, my mom, and I to go cost about $177, but that price included a free hat or tee up to $30 for each of us! The tour was about 50 minutes, but there was plenty of time for additional questions! It was also fun to sign the wall! The shop was having construction being done, so apparently there were some cars missing, but we weren’t bothered by that.

VIP Tour of Shelby Collection. I have wanted to see and experience this and had missed it eight years ago. So, this time we were finally able to get there, but most of the "collection" was not in the display area, only about eight or ten(?) were displayed in an area that typically has many more. Our VIP Tour Guide was friendly and responsive, but really, I wanted to see all those classic Shelby AC Cobras, and Shelby GT 350 and 500 Mustangs from the '60's and early '70's and learn more about them. Many weren't on display. There was a soft pitch about the latest Super Go-fast street legal 850-horse "Dark Horse Mustang" and some other information on the most recent offerings and some limited insight into the design and engineering of upcoming models. Very Interesting, but I won't be buying one of those. My advice is to call ahead if you are interested in going, to find out if the full collection is available to see. Apparently there has been expansion of the assembly and display area that is being completed. The other thing I was looking forward to was to watch the assembly area where each car is basically hand-built by a team that works on the car from rolling chassis start to finish. The VIP swag includes a $30 dollar credit against a wide selection of Shelby branded merchandise. I would have rated this higher if we had known that the full complete "collection" was available to see. My bad for not taking the extra bit of time to call ahead first. If we decide to try again, I'll make a phone call or email first. And You Should too.

Very difficult to hear a soft spoken guide in a noisy environment. Even young people commented on not hearing half of the history and Shelby story.

Really interesting and fun to see the beautiful cars. Our guide was great and so interesting. However the we’re doing work on some of the display areas, so some of the cars were removed. Also the worked there day at 2:30 pm so we could not watch any of the car building being done since our tour was 3pm. Since surprise - included in your ticket price was a $30 T- shirt of your choice and a souvenir magnet. Well worth the time.
