Beautiful views from Mt Tamborine. We enjoyed the rainforest walk. Our tour guidance was good although our lunch location was not good. It should have been Gallery Walk.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Thanks for your review Jeroen and I'm glad you enjoyed the nature aspects of Tamborine Mountain ???? I appreciate your feedback regarding the lunch location. We understand your preference for Gallery Walk, and we're sorry that the chosen spot didn't meet your expectations. We typically select our lunch locations based on a variety of factors, including group size and timing. However, we're always looking to improve our tours based on customer feedback.

Trevor was an excellent host. He was very knowledgeable, kind and considerate to all on the tour. The highlights are the rainforest bridge walk and the glow worm caves are a must! He knew all areas very well and was very informative with all questions asked. A thoroughly thorough enjoyable day!

Thank you for your thoughtful review. Very much appreciated. I'm so glad you enjoyed your day :-)

We really enjoyed our day with Trevor. He was attentive to the things we wanted to see. Giving us ample time to explore. We saw a wallaby in the wild as well as a kookaburra. Don’t pass up getting to see the glow worms. They were really fascinating, something you might never get the chance to see again. Trevor took us to a lunch spot off the beaten path with a little bit for everyone to enjoy. A beautiful and relaxing day!

Thank you for your glowing review! ;-) I'm glad you and Jennifer enjoyed your day away with Dear Australia :-)
Here you get to browse all the shops, galleries, food & beverage plus distilleries and wineries.
If you are over the shops and you simply love nature, beautiful trees and the sounds of birds... Take a walk along a path through a shaded enclave of stunning rainforest trees that lead to a beautiful waterfall. This 1km round trip walk will take you around 30 mins including time at the falls and to take photos. If you love to walk, it's a 1km walk for Gallery Walk or I can drive you to the car park to begin your trek.
An exciting Eco-Adventure offering guests a unique way to explore the beautiful rainforest canopies. Set in a magical 30 acres of privately owned rainforest beside the crystal clear rock-pools of Cedar Creek on Mt Tamborine. The entire walk totals 1.5 kms and is a combination of forest floor trails, 300 metres of high-tech steel bridges through the highest points of the upper canopy, and a 40 metre cantilever bridge that soars a breathtaking 30 metres above the creek and rainforest below.
Optional Experience:
Glow Worm Caves offer the only opportunity in Queensland to see glow worms during the day. Over the course of 30 minutes, you’ll see a glow worm up close and learn all about their life cycle and behaviour. The cave features a colony of native Mount Tamborine glow worms and has been designed to maintain ideal conditions for our delicate glow worms throughout the year, providing the perfect environment for a healthy colony. This admission price is not included in this tour.
Paradise Point is at the northern end of the Gold Coast area. We drive across Hope Island on our way to Paradise Point. The broadwater here is the stretch of water between the mainland and South Stradbroke Island. The northern end of Paradise Point is on the Coomera River.
