For those who purchase the option with the Archiginnasio tour, the visit will be carried out in the afternoon, while the group tour of the city of Bologna remains departing in the morning. Availability permitting, if you have special time requirements please specify in the requests which slot you prefer (14 : 10 or 17 : 00).

Great way to learn about the city

We find walking tours in new cities a great way to learn about the place we are visiting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour visited all the major places of interest. The headphones worked well as we were a big group and it would have been impossible to hear the guide otherwise. The tour started 10 mins late as the guide had not arrived, not a good start imo. It also finished well within the expected 2.5 hours. I don’t think we missed anything but if that is usual then maybe consider 30 minutes of free time for a coffee stop or shopping? We would have found that beneficial.

It’s interesting, historically enlightening and the food choices were very good. Warning I shouldn’t have eaten a big breakfast-my fault.our guide Katrina was wonderful.
