We enjoyed our Saturday evening tour. The stops and stories involved a lot of the history of San Francisco. Our guide had lots of information to share and was very enthusiastic about her topics.

Tour Guide No Show & Still Awaiting Refund

ajm509, Apr 2025

We were looking forward to this tour booked on 12th March 2025 but the guide did not show up at the meeting place (we waited 20 mins past the start time & tried to contact them several times during that period), despite being confirmed only a few hours prior. That was disappointing as in choosing this we had forgone some other experiences that evening in our short time in San Francisco. However what is even more infuriating is that San Francisco Ghosts have not refunded our tour fee. After several requests they offered to re-book us in San Francisco or another US city. However we do not live in the US and this is therefore useless to us. We have communicated this but they are ignoring our emails and have not refunded us. I recommend not booking in with this company as they can not be trusted (and I question whether they would honour the 24 hour cancellation policy advertised) I request that San Francisco Ghosts refund immediately before we take this matter further.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had on March 12th, 2025. We understand how disappointing it must have been to wait for a guide who did not show up, especially when you had been looking forward to this tour and had made decisions based on the tour being part of your short time in San Francisco. We also regret that our attempt to offer alternatives did not meet your expectations, and we acknowledge the frustration this has caused. We take your concerns seriously and would like to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. Please reach out to us at guestrelations@wejunket.com with the name your booking was under, and we will be happy to assist you further with a refund and ensure your issue is addressed promptly. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this.
