It had been 20 years since I last did a trek. My previous experience was hiking in Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand, Cambodia, Bolivia, Peru and the Inca trail. This time I wanted to set myself a physical challenge and climb to Annapurna base camp. By accident I found Alpine Luxury trekking on the internet. As a solo traveller the personalized service and the attention to detail were very important to me and Alpine Luxury trekking did deliver more than I could have hoped for. Nepal offers stunning nature but not without risks. Therefore, I wanted an experienced guide and porter. The fantastic guide and porter team of Gobinda and Keshavi were assigned to me. How lucky I was to have such extremely experienced, caring and genuinely nice people looking after me. Thank you so much. There is an idea for me to do the Langtang trek next year but I would only want to tackle it with the dream team of Gobinda and Keshavi as it gives that extra special demention which makes it a truly unique experience. My partner and I planned a private, custom trek with Badri to see Poon Hill, Khopra Ridge, and Annapurna Base Camp. All communication leading up to the trek was fast and clear. Once there we met our guide Gobinda and porter Purna, both of whom were absolutely wonderful to spend 10 days with. I felt that our safety and preferences were taken into account and they were very flexible with plans when we hiked faster than expected in the itinerary. We learned lots about the local culture and landscape from them and their guidance enriched our trip. Plus they carried a surprise fruit desert for each night. Overall communication was clear and easy and I highly recommend Badri, Gobinda, and Purna for any trekking in Nepal!

Just finished up an amazing and unforgettable 10 day trip with Mr. Gobinda, our guide, and Mr. Purna, our porter. A friend recommended this company and I'm so glad we went with them! From the very beginning when we were planning the trip with Badri, to everyday of the trek, everyone made sure we were comfortable, trekking through beautiful places, eating well, drinking enough water, and staying safe and enjoying every minute. All of our requests were accommodated and they made sure we were able to visit everywhere that we wanted to go, along with some extra places they recommended: Poon Hill, Khopra Ridge, Muldai, and Annapurna Base Camp. I appreciated their expertise along the whole trek about the best routes and viewpoints. I also really appreciated the flexibility with our itinerary, as Gobinda and Purna were able to adjust quickly when needed during our trek. When we made it to a location earlier than expected or wanted to add on an additional side trek, all of that was accommodated to ensure a beautiful day of hiking everyday. They always took great care of us and made sure we had an incredible view of the mountains, and shared interesting information about the villages, history, culture, nature, and Nepal. 10 days goes by so fast when you're having a great time with great people. We had an awesome trekking experience to Annapurna Base Camp. 12 days from Kathmandu to Pokhara then Poon Hill was great. Then AbC and Jhinu hot spring was mesmerizing. Our guide Niren was amazing and porter Keshab was amazing . Great experience. If you plan a trek then go with Alpine Luxury Treks.
