Excellent ghost tour. We had one day in Honolulu and this was a perfect way to learn about the culture and history. Our host was very knowledgeable and engaging. Great night. Off to Amazon to buy his book.

My family and I came to Waikiki for spring break immediately following the Kona low storm. As a result we were the only family who attended yesterday’s tour and Lopaka was gracious enough to host us on a private tour of the Waikiki night marchers. It was an amazing and intimate experience with stories filled with rich historical context that educated us on the history of the city and the night marchers. We look forward to attending another of his ghost tours our next visit.

It was a unique opportunity to learn about a darker side of history and how it still affects the present.
Ask several people who work in Downtown Honolulu and a number of them will tell you that their buildings are haunted. From moving shadows to objects being moved around an office to night marchers to that familiar chicken-skin-feeling that is not caused by air conditioning, the tales abound.
Unbeknownst to many, the buildings and landscape of Downtown Honolulu hide numerous night marcher paths, most of them ending where Pakaka once stood, the ancient sacrificial heiau (Hawaiian temple). Today, the modern buildings and streets of Honolulu carry traces of the past in the form of hauntings. Among the scariest of these are the trails of the night marchers.
Join us and hear tales of eyewitness accounts on this 90 minute walking tour of Honolulu’s Night Marchers. Native Hawaiian owned and operated, support small business and book local!
