Pick up was prompt and a short drive to the vehicle storage unit. Paperwork was quick and easy to complete and then straight on to the safety briefing and controls of the Can-am. We were fortunate that it was just our group of 4 on 2 vehicles. Great pace up through the hills to a great restaurant hand carved in the rocks for lunch. A few photo stops on the way back and then a drop off to our hotel. I must say that our guide (sorry forgot name) was absolutely brilliant all day!

My wife and I had a fantastic time. Our guide Dani was amazing. He took us to all sorts of different places we would never have thought to go on our own. You don’t need any experience do drive these. I would wear long trousers and take a jacket. It got very chilly up in the mountains. Have Fun. We did.

We booked the Ryker Grand Tour for two people and after finding out at the base station that we are the only ones, we booked a second Ryker to be able to drive everyone. Our guide Manuel was great, he speaks German and explained so much to us... Visiting the cave restaurant with its history and the great scenery around it-just beautiful! We will come back! Most people will opt for the dirt buggy tour, which is perhaps a bit more high-octane / quick thrill, but don't overlook the Ryker tour! They're a great machine, even if you've no prior experience, and are a great way to see a good bit of Gran Canaria over a full day. Easy pick-up from our hotel to the base of Buggy Pirates, which is a nice and modern, professional facility, which gives you confidence you've booked with the right people. Thanks in particular to our guide, Manuel. It was an excellent trip, and we appreciated all the little details we picked up from a local, which you wouldn't get on a shorter trip or if you sat by the pool all day! Great lunch at a quirky restaurant up in the mountains too. Cheers.
