Wonderful, informal, but extremely informative tour by Michael. From the broad sweep of Dutch history to little details covering the past through present, Michael is a wealth of knowledge, and shared it with us in a conversational, nature way. We really enjoyed the tour.

Christian was a wonderful host and told us tons of interesting facts about Amsterdam and it’s history. He brought us to areas not mentioned in guidebooks and pointed out numerous things we would have missed on our own. Christian didn’t hesitate to answer all our questions, even when we strayed from the topic being discussed. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide and a different view of Amsterdam !

This tour showed us Amsterdam, not on the usual tourist routes, but with many views of hidden beauties. That was a treat, perfectly prepared.

We went to an area I would never have discovered on my own. I can recommend this city walk to anyone who comes to Amsterdam and wants to discover a corner away from mass tourism.
