Interesting experience, but too expensive

Very interesting experience in a beautiful cellar. We learned a lot about wines and had the chance to taste 6 Burgundy wines (4 whites, 2 reds), everyone of them with a piece of cheese or sausage. However, the price was too high for this experience.

Fantastic Burgundy wine class with The Wine Compass! Pauline is incredibly knowledgeable and made the wine less intimidating and more approachable. I learned more from her in a few hours than in years of study on my own. Loved the smell tests, cheese pairing, and her passion for the region. Small cellar, huge impact! I’d highly recommend this course before you dive into any winery visits in the area.

Lovely intro to French wines

Great way to get some entry level info into French wines and the wine regions. Generous cheese portions, and our teacher was so patient with all our questions. A fun and unique evening activity to do in Paris, would definitely recommend!
