The splash/plons exhibition was okay, we were expecting something fabulous that kids want to play in for hours since you need to book a time slot. It wasn't rhat entralling. The exhibition seemed like it needs a bit of a renovation and better upkeep. At the te water exhibition there's a game, you need to punch a punch card after finding the answers and then you can let your boat sail. This was extremely frustrating. You had to put the skeleton of the boat, its ribs in correct order. Usually boats are wider at the center. But here the "correct" answer was more narrow at the centre. We spent half an hour arranging those pieces while my daughter almost cried from frustration and her parents ignoring the 1 answer that is definitely not probable. Sure if you want to trick people, this would have been a funny answer, but worse is that this is at a maritime museum, you would expect factual design. A boat that goes narrower in the middle is practically nonexistent in historical or functional ship design. It would compromise stability, load capacity, and buoyancy—things boatbuilders across all cultures worked very hard to optimize.

We liked the museum, but unfortunately the visit was quick. We didn't have time to read the patent indications, The outside of the museum has an interesting square with an appealing sculpture.

After renovation worthless for a spontaneous visit. Everything has to be reserved. With children in particular. It sucks. Becoming a fraud!

After often visiting the maritime museum with great pleasure, I went there again with my little kids (5 and 2) to experience the new professor splash. It was particularly disappointing. I think it is made for older children, my son of 5 almost 6 could not do much with it. Busy, lots of scanning, totally unclear what you had to do with many “games”, for little ones there is hardly anything, eighty kids line up to scan their coloring page (made with two pencils because the rest had no point) so that it gets on the wall. Chaos, disappointing, boring and certainly not made for young kids. Which is fine, I'll just try again in a few years. Outside there was nothing, even on the terrace of "pro splash", but full price paid.
