Overview

Discover more of the Alicante region than you’d be able to on your own on this half-day, small-group guided tour. Set out from Alicante and explore the Canelobre Caves, learning about the formation of craggy stalactites, stalagmites, and columns, as well as how the place was used during the Spanish Civil War. It’s more so much more than a caves tour!

Lorraine_M, Apr 2026

I would highly recommend setting aside 3 hours of your day to take this tour. Our tour guide, Yevgen, spoke excellent English and provided us with very interesting facts throughout the trip. His narrative during the Canelobre Caves tour was fun and informative. His low key personality made us feel relaxed and not rushed, which made visiting the Ethnic Music Museum, Castillo and Church extra special. The cave has many steps, some are wet, so I would recommend wearing appropriate shoes.

Unforgettable experience

Visiting the Canelobre caves was an unforgettable experience with my son. Grigor was an excellent, knowledgeable and engaging guide.
