Overview
Most people think they can only experience Carnival in February, during the season, but samba schools in Rio start preparing for the festival months beforehand. Join a small group and visit a samba school to see all that goes into the final productions—from the costumes to the choreography to the floats. This is an exciting experience for anyone who wants to learn more about Brazilian culture and Carnival.

The creation of the floats, costumes , themes and music takes 11months to prepare. We saw a compilation of previous carnivals which brilliant. Tried on some of the costumes. And saw some of this ywars costumes. Fabulous

An experience you can't miss!

I loved the experience. They picked us up in a very comfortable van and left us at the door of the place, we did not line up to enter because everything was very well coordinated. Our guide Liliane had a lot of interesting information about the activity in addition to other tips she gave us about Rio de Janeiro. I recommend that you do this activity which is like immersing yourself in the culture of carioca, full joy and good vibes, an incredible party. Great time

Definetly worth every penny to see the amazing dancers, the drum line and energy of the cariocas living the music !!! Even if you cant dance the energy is intoxicating !!! The guide picks you up on time and you are safe the entire time . Lilian the tour guide was muito bella .
