Overview
Narrow streets, hidden courtyards, magnificent passages - this is Leipzig's city centre. Already in the Middle Ages there were countless farms around the market square. Leipzig was the scene of colorful merchandise fairs: Twice a year, travelling traders from all over Europe came to the city.
The golden age began for Leipzig with the model fairs. The merchandise was no longer sold on the market, but displayed in exhibition halls. Imposing buildings such as the Central Messepalast, Specks Hof or the famous Mädlerpassage were built in a short time.

A must for Leipzig fans!

Highly recommended guided tour of the exhibition halls and passages in Leipzig city centre. Our guide really knew an interesting story about each house. 90 minutes was far too short for us.

Recommended guided tour with very dedicated tour guide. We have visited Leipzig many times before, but we have not been guided through the city so enchantingly. Also the recommended cafe was entirely to our taste. We will definitely come back.
