This is a “must-do” for anyone visiting Toulouse, as the historian/chef Alex is brilliant and brilliantly engages anyone interested in good food and accurate history! He is highly organized and has a marvelous wit that made our 3-4 tour thoroughly memorable…and if you don’t remember, he follows up with a super summary of the high points and food details.

Brilliant tour with Alex showing us the sights tastes and history of Toulouse at a range of sites across the city. A good way for us to spend 4 hours in the city on a brief visit. We really enjoyed the tour. Great information, foodstuffs and tales at each stop on the multi stop tour, all matched to illustrate the range of foods and drinks of the local cuisine. Great tour highly recommend. ????

Alex was the perfect host, making this experience an extremely enjoyable mix of food, culture and history. Having minimal time in Toulouse, I am very happy I chose to do it as he showed the city in a different light, revealed many fascinating stories about Toulouse and general French culture that you can't find on a plaque or usual guide book. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, generous with his time, organised, and very engaging, Alex is a great general/historical tour guide in general. However, as a passionate amateur cook myself, the addition of Alex being a chef then elevated this experience to the next level, making it a unique, fabulous foodie tour. Just don't have much breakfast beforehand... ;) Merci beaucoup!

Alex combined his love of Toulouse and its history with fabulous food and an engaging personality to give us hours of entertainment and education. We had a very small group — my husband and me and another gentleman—and Alex tailored the experience to our interests. This is a tour you shouldn’t miss! Great value with a guide who genuine and listens to participants. He knows and loves his subjects: Toulouse and great food and wine!
