Emma was absolutely amazing. A beautiful guide. Very friendly and full of information. Cinque Terre exceeded my expectations. However, I would not recommend the bus tour if you have a fear of heights and narrow mountain roads. We took a train back to avoid the bus climb back up the mountain.

Wonderful location to experience and see. Would recommend it. Don’t miss it. Hopefully, tour guides will keep track of the guests. Tour guide on our trip was ok but did hurry off without keeping a close on all guests.

Adult daughter and I were able to see 4 of the 5 villages in one day. Just enough time to see some shops, of course admire the views, sit and have a bite to eat and also have some gelato. Train between most stops but boat transport for one which we weren't sure would occur as it was early Nov. Gorgeous day though. Monterosso was the best area with the beach, the shops, and plenty to explore. Didn't get to do all there (mostly hike up to convent and beach), but enough to know we have to go back to see the rest. Hilary was an amazing guide, tour done by her in 3 languages.

Lots of hills and walking but excellent tour. You get to experience many of the towns and sights on your own. Scenery is beautiful. Great day.
Tour leaves from Florence city centre in the early morning , to reach Cinque Terre
The town of Levanto is of ancient foundation, nestled in a valley covered with olive trees, vines and pines and directly overlooking the sea.
In case of Transfer Only option this is the drop off point, where you can start your tour by your own.
The ridges of the valley end in the sea with the Mesco promontory and the tip of Levanto.
Part of its territory also falls within the Cinque Terre National Park and the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area.
The Cinque Terre are a rugged stretch of coast of the eastern Ligurian Riviera (La Spezia Riviera) located in the territory of the province of La Spezia, between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero, in which there are five villages (three municipalities and two hamlets) or, as they used to say in ancient times, "lands", which listed from north to south are: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore.
In Manarola, can relax by bathing in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, taste typical products in the local shops or wander around this small fishing village part of a territory declared a UNESCO heritage site
Riomaggiore, like the other Cinque Terre, is squeezed between the Ligurian Sea and the steep mountain range that detaches itself from the Apennines at Mount Zatta and descends in a south-eastern direction, acting as a watershed between the Val di Vara and the coastal area. The historic center, whose original nucleus dates back to the 13th century, is located in the valley of the Rio Maggiore stream, the ancient Rivus Major from which the village takes its name
Vernazza is the second of the towns that make up the Cinque Terre, in a bay between the municipalities of Monterosso al Mare and Riomaggiore. It also includes the subsequent village of Corniglia, a fraction of it.
Monterosso al Mare is at the center of a small natural gulf, protected by a modest artificial reef, to the east of Punta Mesco on the La Spezia Riviera. It constitutes the westernmost part of the Cinque Terre.
Come back in the evening at the same point in the city center
