Cradle Mountain Magic with a Legendary Guide

We had an amazing day trip to Cradle Mountain! Aaron, our guide, made the bus ride fly by with his engaging storytelling—such a personable and friendly bloke. He really added to the whole experience and made it that much more enjoyable. Loved our stop in the charming town of Sheffield, and the walk around Dove Lake was stunning. Weindorfers Forest was absolutely magical—like stepping into another world. We wrapped up the day with a visit to Ashgrove Cheese Dairy Door, which was the perfect (and tasty!) way to finish the tour. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the area. Great itinerary, great guide, and unforgettable scenery.

Great day out very informative & interesting but would have enjoyed more time at the cheese factory very rushed same for rangers but 15 to 20 mins including toilet break not enough time otherwise throughly enjoyed it

After approximately 2 hours coach touring from Launceston through the lush landscape and rolling farmland of Sheffield and the North West Coast we arrive at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Located on the park boundary, enjoy the interpretive displays, park information, up to date weather information and learn everything there is to know about this stunning alpine area. The Centre also has toilet facilities, a gift shop, cafe and takeaway and is known for it's friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful native gardens surround the Centre. Enjoy a short 5 minute walk to cascading waterfalls, known as the Enchanted Forest Walk.
