It was really an excellent experience. I went to Delhi with my family. We didn't knew much about the place but the driver guided us in a very friendly and nice way.

Seek blessings of the Goddess of wealth Lakshmi, Sri Laxmi Narayan Temple. Also known as the Birla temple, it is one of the biggest Hindu temples of the city. As the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to Lord Laxminarayan, better known as Lord Vishnu, or the preserver in the Trimurti, comprising of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh.
Sacred Heart Cathedral is the most famous church in Delhi. With magnificent architectural design and high sacred significance, it’s no surprise that Sacred Heart of Cathedral Church is itself a highly revered tourist landmark in Delhi. Sprawling in an area of 14 acres, Sacred Heart of Cathedral Church is located near the Gole Dak Khana at the intersection of Baba Kharak Singh Marg and Ashoka Road in Connaught Place. This beautiful built Christian shrine is touted as one of the largest and the oldest church in Delhi.
For its unique lotus structure Lotus Temple is worth visiting. The temple controls 27 marble petals that form clusters to look like lotus. There are nine openings to the temple in regard to the nine anatomical openings of a human body. Lotus temple preaches Baha I Faith, a concept that includes all religions of the world as one.
Pay visit to the famous Akshardham. 'Akshardham' means the divine abode of God. It is hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – an abode of God, a Hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony.
This magnificent white-marble gurdwara (Sikh temple), topped by glinting golden onion domes, was constructed at the site where the eighth Sikh guru, Harkrishan Dev, stayed before his 1664 death. Despite his tender years, the six-year-old guru tended to victims of Delhi’s cholera and smallpox epidemic, and the waters of the large tank are said to have healing powers. It's full of colour and life, yet tranquil, and live devotional songs waft over the compound.
