Overview
After meeting your guide outside your central Nice hotel for a convenient pickup, travel along the famed coastal road of the French Riviera. Admire the scenery as you make your way to Cannes, known for its famous film festival and sandy beaches.
Walk along Croisette Boulevard, window shopping on your way to the Film Festival Palace. There, see how many celebrity handprints you can find.
Next, head for the city of Grasse, the world capital of the perfume industry. Go on a guided tour of a perfumery to learn the complex art and science behind each scent, or enjoy some free time to explore Grasse on your own.
Continue up into the hills, taking in the increasingly dramatic views of mountains, valleys, and the Mediterranean Sea far below. Arrive at Gourdon, a medieval hilltop village, where you take a break for lunch (own expense) before continuing to Loup Gorges.
Pause for a brief photo-op at Tourettes/Loup before making your way to the final stop of the day—Saint Paul de Vence, the second-most visited village in the country. The charming historic lanes are lined with art galleries and pretty boutiques just begging you to browse. Enjoy some free time in Saint Paul de Vence before climbing back into the vehicle for the return trip to Nice.

Superb day out in the hill villages

This was a really great day trip full of different things and interests. Nora was our driver/guide and she was great and very informative. I loved visiting the hill villages as well as seeing the perfume factory in Grasse and the sweet and jam factory. Highly recommend this trip

The tour was wonderful, despite rain! Because of the small group, our guide Thierry could be flexible, for example, taking us to the costume museum instead of the perfume factory tour. Thierry displayed excellent knowledge, grace, and thoughtfulness.

One of the best trip had. Our guide Nora was very knoledgeble, friendly, it was a pleasure to have her as guide. Provence is gorgeous, the villages visited are full of history, very pitoresque, full of colours and art. The landsvape is fabulos. We definetly will return.
