Yonah was our guide and his knowledge was great. We met at the tourist information centre in Marienplatz which is right at the subway exit for the town hall. We took a 25 min train and 10 min local bus to the camp. Really massive place with a gruesome history. The tour us 2.5hr at the camp learning the history and stories. You'll see the crematorium, admin building and reconstructed barracks. Tour was great but would have liked time to explore the rooms a bit more.

Too much talking & not enough time to see artifacts

Talked too much. The tour guide was kind but her voice did not project and she did not speak loud enough for the entire tour to hear. She needs a microphone. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to see the exhibits and artifacts in the museum because our tour guide was talking too much and didn't leave time to explore the artifacts. As someone who is genuinely interested in the history I wish she had gave us time to see the artifacts.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site
On this tour we escort you to the site by public transport.
Our fully trained guide will take you round all areas of the
memorial site, giving you an insight into the suffering of the
prisoners and relating the story of the concentration camp
system to historical developments during the time of the
National Socialist regime.
We guide you round the cells, barracks and gas chamber
and explain the meaning behind the pictures and exhibits in
the museum with thought-provoking accounts of prisoners’
own experiences, from the setting up of the camp until their
liberation by US-forces in 1945.
There is a 22 minute documentary film in English, although
we stress that this is deemed unsuitable for children underv 13 years old
